Therefore he should not be judged or even put into the category of that other "One Person"!

I feel that Sidney Sandy will be a great asset to Union County since Curtis Blackwood has not represented us as well many of us would like! I know that I will be voting for Sidney Sandy in May and again in November and I would encourage everyone else to do so as well! We deserve better representation in the House!!Me~https://www.blogger.com/profile/08546376202073925621noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2799451770086337664.post-28181727784024646822008-02-23T10:21:00.000-05:002008-02-23T10:21:00.000-05:00In Union County's 68th District, Curtis Blackwood,...In Union County's 68th District, Curtis Blackwood, the incumbent is facing a challenge from Sidney Sandy, the Chairman of the now suspended Public Works Advisory Board, which is under both SBI and reportedly FBI investigation for basically favoring specific developers with sewer allocation. Union County is in a 8 year construction boom, that has now outstriped our local sewer capacity.

Despite Mr. Blackwood's pathetic record in the house, and unlike the Union County's Senator Eddie Goodall, the money trail of developer donations do not lead to LLCs and local bills designed to favor contributors/developers.

In the 68th, if Mr. Sandy was to be elected, he would just be another advocate for the builder/realtor food chain, as he is and was on the now defunct Advisory Board. From the Primary Election perspective, Blackwood will likely survive, as many voters will hold their nose as they check off his name.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2799451770086337664.post-30468953924136246732008-02-22T13:32:00.000-05:002008-02-22T13:32:00.000-05:00Let's see, Wiley's opponent has zero elected exper...Let's see, Wiley's opponent has zero elected experience, zero party backing, zero support outside of his hometown precinct and a zero record of supporting Republicans. Other than his father's name, living in a Main Street mansion and family money, he brings nothing to the district.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
