  1. That's an easy one to guess. Obama is up by 4 points in CO.

  2. It's not possible to make a PA poll? With NM and IA in the BO pocket, CO, MI and PA are the key states for me.

if it's possible, one time WI and MN also.

I look every poll and clearly Barack look better in the polls than 10 days before.

It's good than the momentum is with him just before the first debate.

    ReplyDelete
  3. McCain will be up by at least 5 points tommorow. No way CO will vote for a muslim marxist.

    MCCAIN/PALLEN 2008!!!

    ReplyDelete
  4. I love that the McCain troll misspelled "Palin."

    ReplyDelete
  5. How many offices is Obama closing and how many are McCain opening?

    ReplyDelete
  6. It's Palin, you idiot.

Your stupidity regarding Obama's religion doesn't surprise me after your misspellings.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Like the liberals have not attacked Palin's faith, made fun of her faith.

    ReplyDelete
  8. i know he misspelled but also should it not be Palin/McCain

  10. "How many offices is Obama closing and how many are McCain opening?" Other than the 11 from North Dakota that Obama closed yesterday, one must ask where the diverted McCain staffers to North Carolina came from. He had to rob Peter to pay Paul from somewhere. So where is McCain closing down or cutting back staff to send to North Carolina? Could it be from New Mexico? Or Iowa?

  11. How can you not knock her faith - she thinks we walked with Dinosaurs 7000 years ago and that she will see Jesus return in her lifetime and that Alaskans will be saved.

Yes lets give her that nuclear code now and end our misery at having to tolerate such ignorance.

  12. Soon, McFailin will be forced to get out of CO, NM, and VA...He will move to defend NV and NC, and throw all the money he has into MI.

VA, VA, and MI are all the hope the pukes have left.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Since I am a hater of Barack Obama and want him to lose and also have no political skill I will say that McCain is leading by 3.

McCain in 2008 for Warner in 2012

    ReplyDelete
  14. Rasmussen again shows up PPP. This time in Virginia.

MAC +2 is certainly more plausible than your Obama +6 garbage.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Actually, PPP has Obama up by only 2 in VA. It's Survey USA that has him up by 6 and ABC News/Washington Post that has him up by 8. You may wish to have your facts straight before criticizing. :-)

    ReplyDelete
  16. Quick addendum - the ABC News/Washington Post poll has so many splits it gets confusing. The 8 point lead is registered voters with Barr & Nader. It's 5 among likely voters with all four candidates, 6 among registered voters head to head, and 3 among likely voters head to head. Not sure why they'd want to measure without Barr and Nader, since both will be on the ballot. Regardless, and the main point, all of their splits show a bigger advantage to Obama than PPP's poll does.

  17. brandon cannot help himself he has to cling to those polls, few and far between they may be, that show his candidate (McCain) leading in this state or that. Dont breate him too much, if the shoe were on the other foot I'm sure Obama supporters would be doing the same thing.

  18. How does this make you feel?

  19. How does the AOL poll make me feel? It makes me feel that people who cling to it are sad and pathetic. Really think that Obama is going to lose Illinois, you tool??

As for the Colorado clue, I am going to say that it might yield a pretty significant switch. If the change on the question is around 7 points, I'll say that the Obama lead will be 5-7 points.

    ReplyDelete
  20. My bad. The switch was 12 points (from +3 favorable to -9 unfavorable).

I say cut that in half, or perhaps even more (since not everyone is going to change their vote based on their deteriorating mood towards the VP candidate).

    Obama by 5 or 7.

Pretty good. AOL is full of people too stupid to get news from somewhere other than AOL.

  22. Great numbers to see! I was worried about Colorado with its population of evangelicals but post-convention polling has calmed me a lot.

Also, hello Tom! I was absolutely shocked to see your name up there, but then again, I wasn't terribly surprised per se. Glad to see you're bringing the good word as always!

    ReplyDelete
  23. Sarah Palin is a WHORE. I'm sick of looking at her.

    ReplyDelete
  24. I live in CO and can tell you it's obvious around here which way things are going. The evangelicals are only in the Springs. Boulder will cancel them out. Tomorrow Obama will be up by at least 4 points.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Denial is a beautiful thing to behold Ralph H.

And I forgive your misspelling of Palin, since she's all but disappeared anyway.

But Einstein, couldn't you have at least spelled tomorrow correctly?

    ReplyDelete
  26. You may wish to have your facts straight before criticizing.

Since when did not getting facts straight ever keep a rightwinger from launching headlong into a stupid tirade? That's Sean Hannity's bread and butter right there!

Reality has a well-known liberal bias. Let the wingers whistle past the graveyard all they want - it'll be all the more fun to see their crying faces the night of November 4th.

    ReplyDelete
  27. I can only guess Obama will be up 3-5 points in the poll tomorrow. Still want to see one more non-partisan poll before I stick a fork in McCain's chances in CO.

With IA and NM looking like locks for Obama, it's looking more and more like McCain needs to take away PA. (Or WI/MN/MI, but those look less likely than PA right now.) Getting NH just gives him a tie, which the Dem congress will break in favor of Obama. McCain's also not out of the woods in VA yet.

    ReplyDelete
  28. lol, I just voted in the AOL poll... as a German. So c´mon, this is a bad joke.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Groucho was Jewish, not Muslim.

    ReplyDelete
  30. "not out of the woods in VA"? Are you joking, he is smack dab in the middle of the woods in VA. Lets see ABC came out with a VA poll today showing Obama up by 3-8 pts (depending on whether you include all who are on the ballot -- you should -- and whether you look at registered or likely voters), SUSA had a poll out today showing Obama up in VA by 6. PPP had a poll out last week showing Obama up by 2. Rasmussen's VA poll out today has McCain by 2 and an Insider Advantage said the same thing. Average out the VA polls for the past week (not polls released in the past week but those surveying voters in VA over the past week) and Obama is ahead.

    ReplyDelete
  31. yo ralphie, that's Pallin, you racist xenophobic idiot!

    ReplyDelete
  32. Excellent. Obama must be leading in Colorado by around 4-6 points. I'll take that.

Tom, the more I think about it the more I think it would be great for you to poll PA sooner rather than later. Not just because it seems to be the one Kerry state that is tightening while Obama's national lead is widening but because it provides you with an opportunity to slay the PA ghost following your erroneous polling for the PA Dem primary.

Given the selection of Biden I am staggered that PA is still close and it reminds me very much of the difficulties that Obama faced in making the sale to blue collar Reagan democrats. It is critical for the Dems that the Clintons campaign in PA and OH for this very reason.

  33. "I live in CO and can tell you it's obvious around here which way things are going. The evangelicals are only in the Springs. Boulder will cancel them out. Tomorrow Obama will be up by at least 4 points."

I don't think so, El Paso county is now the highest populated county in the state, strong republican base, Pueblo is now mostly republican since the steel mills closed (no union). The second largest income to the state is hunting. Just about every town off the front range loves their guns and hunting, the old time democrats in the sw corner won't vote for Obama because of gun control. Even Joe Biden is afraid Obama will take his Beretta o/u. It also seems the spanish want McCain because he will offer them amnesty. ps as far as the aol poll, unfortunatly this is the kind of people that vote.

    ReplyDelete
  34. "It also seems the spanish want McCain because he will offer them amnesty."

You're right, the illegal immigrants from Spain are a huge Republican constituency. Especially after McCain demonstrated that he has no idea who Zapatero is.

    ReplyDelete
  35. about every town off the front range loves their guns and hunting,

Unfortunately the Front Range accounts for about 85% of the state population.

It also seems the spanish want McCain because he will offer them amnesty.

Yes, all I hear from the illegal Spaniards in their tapas bars in LoDo is how much they like McCain.

    ReplyDelete
  36. "ps as far as the aol poll, unfortunatly this is the kind of people that vote."
    Not exactly.
Again, I´m German. Not a foreign US citizen, simply German. And I voted in that poll. And I won´t vote in the US election, just maybe getting some Americans to vote for me via phonebanking for the Obama campaign, but...

    ReplyDelete
  37. "Just about every town off the front range loves their guns and hunting, the old time democrats in the sw corner won't vote for Obama because of gun control."

Even though Obama has said publicly throughout his whole campaign that he doesn't want to ban guns? Guess some people never listen. By the way, the vast majority of the CO's population is on the Front Range. And the data in the SW doesn't support your argument either. La Plata county has been trending bluer and bluer as their population grows. In 2004, John Kerry beat George Bush won by 1,695 votes, a slightly less than 7% margin. John Kerry did not have field operations in Durango but the Obama campaign is there in force.

"It also seems the spanish want McCain because he will offer them amnesty."

Oh right, all the tourists from Spain that go to Vail and never leave. Forgot about them.

  38. To Anonymous at 552 AM:

A few things. Actually, Pueblo County went 53-46 for John Kerry, and Ritter beat Beauprez there by better than 2-to-1.

Here is another fun fact. As El Paso County has grown in population, it has become less red, not more. Dems gained about 2 points there from 2000 to 2004, and Ritter won just shy of 40% of the vote there in 2006.

As for your assumption that the AOL reflects reality in any meaningful way...well...I will bet you $1000 right now that McCain does not win 538 electoral votes, the way that poll seems to insinuate. If you are so confident that AOL's self-selected polls reflect the reality of the situation, c'mon and make me a thousand bucks richer...

    ReplyDelete
  39. Even though Obama has said publicly throughout his whole campaign that he doesn't want to ban guns? Guess some people never listen.

The absolute number 1 voter against the 2nd amendment. peoiod. If he says he is pro-gun, he is a liar. Even Joe Biden, his running mate thinks he will take his o/u shotgun from him. I guess Joe didn't listen, or is his own running mate dosn't trust him. I don't trust him, his historical actions have already spoke. btw, the Supreme Court over-turned the DC gun ban and unconstitutional gun ban in Chicago with the Heller decision, but to this date both these cities still ignore the judgment and continue to deny Hellers application to register a firearm.

    You liberals make me sick.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Palin is absolutely McCain's whore. Can anyone explain why there have only been two interviews with Palin, yet Biden's given 84 interviews? Geraldine Ferraro was out stumping the day after her nomination. Why is Palin under wraps? Why can't she speak for herself? This is outrageous -- and unprecedented -- behavior on the part of a political leader. When the media tries to get answers for the public, they're accused of scrutinizing her too closely. I can't wait for the debates when she puts her foot in her mouth. We should all be highly insulted by this secrecy and withholding of information.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Regardless of political affiliation, there is no need for language like that.

    This coming from an Obama-fan.

    ReplyDelete
  44. webster: whore - To compromise one's principles for personal gain.

    seems to fit.

OK we can use nicer words to describe her, but I'd rather spend the time trying to salvage my 401K.

    ReplyDelete
  45. To anon @9:30,

I agree that it is inappropriate to use language like that. However, how do you know that commenter is a liberal? There are a lot of non-liberals who don't like Palin.

When the McCain campaign was asked which Democrats are attacking Palin personally they pointed to Andrew Sullivan, who is neither a Democrat nor a liberal. Most liberals are vocal in their dislike for Palin but don't resort to sexist insults. You obviously want to hate liberals no matter what, but one anonymous commenter is not representative of all liberals.
