Polling this week

We'll have both the North Carolina and Missouri Presidential polls tomorrow, apologies for the delay.

We'll also have a new poll set up on the blog for where we should conduct a survey this week besides Florida and North Carolina.

  2. Tom I suggest adding either Indiana, Georgia, Montana, or Nevada to your poll with FLA. Those states have been underpolled but the polls that have come out of late are very interesting.

  3. There are so many states worth polling. How about Arkansas or West Virginia? Also, I'd love for some teasers/hints on the MO/NC polls.

  4. I will vote for West Virginia if it is an option; Indiana would be my second choice if that is not available.

  5. I agree. There are enough FL polls already. WV or IN would be more interesting to know what is going on there once and for all!

  6. How about a couple of hints? PLEASE!!

  7. West Virginia, Indiana, and Georgia are the ones who should be polled next, I think. Montana and North Dakota, because of that +2 Obama poll, are good choices, too. Maybe even an Arkansas or Arizona poll?

  8. My vote is for Indiana or South Dakota.

  9. I vote for WV, as a check to the ARG poll (which appears to be an outlier).

  10. I will vote for IN and if that is not possible due to the laws against robocalling in that state I will go with WV.

  11. I think a poll is needed in AR. Chuck Todd mentioned that things should be tightening there as well considering the gains in the region for Obama. There have been no AR polls since 9/22.

  17. My suggestions are:
    1) West Virginia because the race is possibly tightening up there. The September polling was favorable to Obama, the campaign has devoted more resources there, and Nate @ 538 has the state projected as a toss-up.
    2) Indiana for obvious reasons, but I remember you saying there were some difficulties polling that state.
    3) Nevada as confirmation that the race there has tilted in Obama's favor.
    4) NE-02. There has been only one recent poll and it showed McCain leading 53-40. I wonder if it's as close as both campaigns are treating it.

  18. It's been over two weeks since New Mexico was last polled. Would like to get a read on the level of support down there.
