Really, all libertarians aren't crazy. Really.

Rasmussen out with a poll that has Burr leading by 1. Proof that Rasmussen doesn't have a house effect and that Dems have to take them seriously? No. As with their CT poll it proves that when one candidate has commercials for six weeks and the other one is dark, the numbers will be dramatically different. It shows why you don't poll within two weeks after an election.

Marshall didn't have any tv ads during the runoff. I do agree that Rasmussen will have her down 15 again in a couple weeks though.

Never heard of this candidate...How can you poll someone that has no chance of winning?

Rasmussen gives each and every candidate that has a nice big very pubicized victory, a big or bigger bump in the polls, which aways fades more or even more.

It is normal for a candidate that has a big primary win to have a bounce in the polls which later disappears.

Wow, on first read I thought that this crazy person was referring to Alex Sink, the candidate for Governor in Florida (who is a she). Apparently Alex Snitker is a thing...

Do I sense some disdain for a competitor? There are legit reasons to have concerns with their methodology, but that doesn't mean they're wrong.

Rasmussen did note that Elaine Marshall did get a "bounce" after her win in the recent Democratic primaries. You know as well as anyone that in the aftermath of a party's primary, the winning candidate will quite often get a temporary "bounce" in the polls. It remains to be seen whether her numbers will fall or not, but I very seriously doubt that Rasmussen will have her down by 15 anytime too soon. But we'll see.

As you well know Tom, PPP had Marshall down by 7 on 6/8. Dean Debnam was quoted at the time as saying "The impressions Cunningham and Marshall made during the primary seem to be temporary, not long lasting." He further stated that "That could be beneficial to Senator Burr."

Bounce?

Obviously the person who sent that was rude and lacked respect, which is the exact opposite way to accomplish things. However, as a fellow "Tea Party" candidate, Snitker could serve as a spoiler for Rubio and give Crist an advantage that would be undetected without including Snitker in the poll.

That was a rude and inappropriate email, but I understand his frustration.

I wish PPP would include him in the poll, Snitker is the first libertarian Senate candidate in FL and I'm curious how he polls. I haven't decided whether to support him or Rubio. Knowing the polling information would be helpful.
