We're conducting our final North Carolina primary poll over the weekend, and since I know people will be waiting in eager anticipation we're going to go ahead and release the results after we finish doing interviews at 9 PM Sunday night. Expect them to be up by 11 PM or so.
We're also going to try something new and do a live blog of the election results across North Carolina on Tuesday night. If you were reading us the night of the Presidential election in 2008 you know we were far ahead of any mainstream media outlet in explaining why Barack Obama was going to win the state even though he trailed in the returns for much of the night (Cumberland and Buncombe Counties were the last ones out and we knew they'd go heavily for him, which no one else seemed to have a handle on.) There probably won't be anything that dramatic this election night but we'll be breaking down the Senate race, Congressional races, and legislative races across the state as the night progresses.
The other state we'll be polling this weekend is Kentucky We're interested in whether Rand Paul is holding onto his large lead in the primary, and whether Trey Grayson's attacks are softening him up at all for the general election. We're also trying to delve into what the GOP primary there says about the way Republicans feel about their party, and what it all means to the Tea Party movement.
So that's what's on deck!

The Indiana primary is Tuesday and you're not polling it???
INDIANA
Kentucky GOP primary polling will be up at 11 PM EST on Sunday?
I agree with the above. KY Republican primary is Tuesday and there have be a slew of recent endorsements.
Poll Indiana over weekend
What happened to the GOP primary results for NC presidential this week? Did the wrong person win?
Go Rand Paul
Derby weekend in Kentucky...do not think it'll affect the results much at all though.
We only did the North Carolina Democratic Senate primary this week. There were no GOP numbers 'due out.'
OREGON PLEASE
I'd love a Michigan gov poll, I know there is only just a gov race and no senate race but it still would be nice to have poll. The only pollsters that have been polling this one are Rasmussen and the newspapers polls in Michigan and to be honest I don't trust those polls.
I'd like to see the result of a hypothetical Paul vs. Mongiardo vs. Grayson matchup.
The Kentucky Senate race is similar to the Florida Senate race, in that you have two Republicans who are very different ideologically and aren't holding back in the primary.
I'd like to know of an independent run by Grayson would be as feasible as the independent run by Crist that is now a reality.
I'm not sure if you do these regularly or just by popular demand, but I'm a 2012 GOP primary junkie, and I'd like to see you poll the Republican Presidential primary race in Kentucky.
Question about your 2012 primary polls. YOu polled various GOP candidates including Ron Paul, and I was wondering whether you polled 'all likely voters' or just GOP? Because from a recent Rasmussen poll it looks like Ron Paul in particular pulls from independents as much as GOP, and in open primary states, they would make a difference.
Patiently awaiting our Kentucky GOP numbers. Go Rand!
You polled me last night in KY....when will the results be out?
did you polls gop in your NC survey this week?
We only did a Democratic primary survey in North Carolina.
The Kentucky poll will start coming out on Tuesday.
